I could have probably went without reading this one. It was mostly repetitive of Twilight. There wasn't really enough new content to justify the time I spent reading this one.

Could have been a bit shorter, there was a lot of personal turmoil that could have been cut out but a good book and a defiant recommendation if a fan of the Twilight Saga.

My rating: ⭐4.5/5⭐ Would I recommend this book?: YES! Age Rating: I think it's everyone's personal choice on whether or not to read books based on age ratings, but in my opinion, I would say this is suitable for ages 13+. Although there…

The released free early manuscript that was originally leaked years ago was a lot more interesting. I remember liking Edward’s point of view and laughing at the gym snooping. Something major got lost in the midnight sun edits. This tome is…

I enjoyed this book more than I remember enjoying the first one. It's been awhile since I read the first ones though. I have been enjoying watching the movies

I read all the Twilight books in highschool, and they were the catalyst to what is now my love of reading. I had hoped that this book would've contained Edward's perspective of the most memorable moments of the whole series and not just…

My curiosity won in the end and I, admittedly, devoured this. Did I like it? Not really, but I also couldn't put it down... I blame the nostalgia and my love for cringe. It's interesting to see the story with fresh, mature eyes. I realize…

What is it about these novels? They are so bad, but you just can't put them down!

I read the Twilight Saga when I was teaching middle school, since that's what my students were reading in their spare time. Another teacher and I agreed that, while entertaining, these stories are hardly literature. After reading Midnight…

Midnight Sun was an incredible book!! I really liked hearing the story from Edward's perspective. You can see how much he loves Bella. The PERFECT fairy-tale love - the very best kind. Also, it was SO great to get to know the Cullens…

If this had come out before 50 Shades, I think I would've liked the book. That said, you can see where I'm going. Couldn't get into it and I'm fine with that.

Ok. So what can I say? My inner feminist was writhing in pain the entire time, but my inner teenage girl was absolutely screaming. Stephanie Meyer has really improved with her writing...and she now seems to be aware of the harm of blindly…

All Twilight fans should read this but if your new to the Twilight series DONT READ THIS FIRST!!! Read the original four first then this one as a flashback.

This was a super fun book! i loved hearing the same events from Edwards point of view, he is very illuminating and sees a lot of details that we miss in twilight. It’s not necessary for the plot, you don’t miss any big thing that’s not…

So yeah. Same plot as Twilight, from Edward's perspective. He never sleeps so... more things happen. We get to know Bella a little better, and Meyers responds to some of the negative comments Twilight received. I think she does a good job…

I couldn't finish this book because it was so disturbing and disappointing. Twilight was always a misogynistic series but this took it to a whole other level. The first few chapters are filled with Edwards fantasies about how he'd kill…

Having been a fan of Meyer, I was definitely excited to read her latest work and can personally say that I was not disappointed. I would recommend that anyone interested in this book should read the first ones in the twilight series…

I started reading Midnight Sun out of morbid curiosity-- and I'll admit I was excited to get my hands on it. When chapters of this book were leaked in 2008, I read them. I pored over them. It was at the height of my frenzy, when everything…

I honestly didn’t know this book was even coming out until I saw it in stores and libraries. This is a rendition of the first Twilight book in Edwards perspective as opposed to Bella’s. It was interesting for some parts, especially during…

Over 10 years later and I'm sucked right back in! Loved this book from Edward's perspective. It gave a great insight to all the things Bella did not pick up on/did not know. Highly suggest this one to any Twilight fan! It's never too late…

An interesting and some what lengthy look at what happens in Twilight from Edward's point of view.

I waited 12 years for this book and it did not disappoint. This is Twilight from Edward’s perspective where we hear his thoughts and reasonings behind his actions. It was great to revisit Forks, WA.

This was so disappointing. So slow and painful to read. I love reading and look forward to my time when the kids go to sleep but I had to force myself to actually read. That says something.
