I adore this book. I'm not sure why it doesn't have a full five star rating. The photos are excellent (although I wish there were more), the writing style is easy to read and makes me feel like Deborah is sitting in my living room telling stories, and (most importantly) I didn't even notice until halfway through the recipes that I hadn't seen a recipe that included meat! This is not a vegetarian cookbook though... there are meat-focused and meat-added recipes later as I would later learn. But still... the book does exactly as it claims by providing excellent recipes centered around farmer's market produce finds. It makes those farmer's market gems the fixture of the dish. I wish we all ate like this more and would put the Campbell's Soup Mix back on the shelve every now and then. I only wish there were calorie or nutrion info at the end of each recipe. I'm anxious get cooking now... and I'm giddy for Spring and my Farmer's Market!
