First named just Commedia, until Boccaccio added Divina, Dante's epic poem is considered as one of the greatest works of literature. Completely aware of its cultural and literary significance, I still suffered through it. Isn't it wonderful that there are countless less great and less significant literary works which one can actually love and enjoy and not only admire?
