Kirk Douglas, Irne Paps, and few character actors and what looks like an Italian location make this film barely tolerable. Alex Cord, the co-star, as Kirk's brother was a complete washout as an actor for his whole miserable career. The men portraying the ruling mafioso here are not even Italian. The story line is unimaginative. Someone must have figured out a way to make money on Kirk's performance alone.
