This series, the Wheel of Time, is really one of the best fantasy series out there. It is necessary to start at the beginning to understand and ponder the plot twists, relationships, and mysteries in the series. Pretty much every sentence is carefully planned out to provide clues useful later on, etc. One thing I enjoy about the series is the unparalleled (in the books I've read) description of relationships, especially between men and women.
Many describe Winter's Heart as boring, and it isn't the most exciting book of the series. However, there is plenty of information in this book that it is important to be armed with in the next books. The series seems to get better with every book, as the climax is building up, and each book branches more and more to include the whole plot. The parts with Perrin until book twelve may bore you though. :D

I enjoyed this book and highly recommend anyone interested in this genre to start at the beginning and read your way through the entire series.

I just finished this book. I've considered portions of a number of the books in the series slow reading at times, but there always plenty to excite me and make me anxious to obtain the next book and read it as soon as I finish one.

I learned about this series from another reader who initiated a conversation when he saw me reading one of Brian Sandersons books.

When you finish this series or while you're waiting on a copy of the next book to become available at your local library, check out Brian Sandersons books.

This book was probably my least favourite of the series, but I still liked it. Fans of this series should continue to read on, as the books really start to pick up again with book 12. But I still think that every book is good.

Remember how great the first book was? Well that was a lot of wasted words ago.

One of the weaker books of this great series, but wow what an awesome ending.
