Frightening or Intense Scenes: Being in the mind of Casanova and the Gentleman is a pretty intense thing. These 2 are warped and there actions and thoughts are very intense.

Comment
Add a CommentI have completed the first two Alex Cross mysteries, and I have enjoyed them very much. I love reading about his family. He is relentless and never gives up. I also watched the movies based on these two novels. Great reads and great movies!
Only 1/2-way through,
but I 'm kind of startled by how violent and gruesome the descriptions of the the crimes are , but the plot is suspenseful.
Now 80% read, and plot thinkens.
Finished. Pretty good .
Some minor plausibility issues , but many good scenes.
Psychopathic villain(s?) with the uncanny ability of deception and explicitly brutal toward women. I like nasty *believable* villains. This book was over the top and not for me.
This is probably best read opposed to audio download. I couldn't get past the narrator's over the top reading and quit listening.
Just OK.
Kiss the Girls is very addicting and really hard to put down. The mystery was great and it wasn't until the last few pages when I found out who Cassnova really was. Patterson throws in a few head fakes and oh man did I fall for all of them!
Alex Cross - Book 2
Fast paced, decent read, but I did spend the entire time thinking "why haven't the detectives done [this] already?".
Seemed like they weren't particularly smart and was an action hero waiting for some drama.
Amazing loved it did'nt want to put it down
This book definitely solidified me taking the Alex Cross plunge. Chillingly real, I was terrified to sleep without the light on!!
