Add a CommentCoco Martin is one of Danielle Steel's most confused heroines. For someone who is constantly described as a very strong person, she is incredibly naive and makes very poor life decisions. The book started out violently, went on with a sordid affair, and then continued as though Coco was spineless. The only reason I read the whole book was to see if the ending turned out as I hoped it would. Did it? I don't want to be a spoiler.
This is the first book I have been disappointed in by Danielle Steel. Coco could not make up her mind which man she wanted in her life and I was disappointed by the ending.
Wasn't impressed; kept hoping Coco would stop being such a doormat and letting men walk all over her. The story was uninspiring and frustrating. With this novel, Steel was much more graphic with sexual encounters and using the F word - it reads as though a ghost writer penned this one. Definitely not the Danielle Steel style of writing.
