Just slightly above average with weak writing let Vin Diesel basically be an avenging god.

Kind of a generic sci-fi action film. I like Vin Diesel, but I feel like this wasn't a good use of his talents.

This is a good film, but way too repetitive. You literally see the same thing being played out more than once. Vin does his usual "Fast and Furious" style acting, but the plot is a little too obvious and a little beyond belief. The CGI is pretty good though.

The premise is better than the plot itself. The characters are decent, but nothing special. It is still better than other DC films, but it is not "Aquaman." I would like to see a sequel to this movie and see what they can do with it.

Great action film, especially with a nanotech- super endowed soldier!

This is a totally middle-of-the-road comic book adaptation with average special effects and an over-excited focus on "NANITES!?" as though this isn't something we're all familiar with by now.

On the other hand, as with so many of the films he chooses to take on, Vin Diesel is clearly living his absolute best nerd life, and honestly it's fun to watch just for that.

This's actually a decent Vin Diesel (Mark Sinclair) movie. Wait did I just say that? It's confounding. No, hold on; it's that that rest of the movie is actually better than what he is normally in...and it elevates my perception of him... wow, got it. That's what's up, whew. If the Vin Diesel brand works for you, great. Mark Sinclair though will never be in a dramatic, thinking person's role other than "Awakenings" as an uncredited orderly or his semi-autobiographical, 'take notice of me hollywood' cinematic business card, "Multi-Facial" (*not a good mainstream movie title btw*). This movie needs more of the Wilfred Wigans character (Lamorne Morris) honestly as he's the real hero along with KT (Eiza Gonzales) perhaps. Guy Pierce is solid as usual: an actor, playing a scientist, who gets to act: now that's meta-human lol. Talulah Riley is under used as a talent, which many can tell after watching her transformation role on "West World". Every actor who brings personality to their character is a winner here, however secondarily written and contrived their role is in Vin Diesel's movie. Watchable, yes even enjoyable, and not a complete waste of time. BTW flour dust is combustible, do not have a flour fight and then use a GD flare! Certainly a late, if not unimaginative, addition to the super-hero genre. Lamorne Morris aka W. Wigans for the win!

Vin Diesel looks tired. All of the plot was spoiled by a 2-minute trailer (why?). Special effects are bollywood-level, but lacking the hilarity. The only cool scenes are the ones with the hacker (Wigans), his personality and his sparking monologues shine… all of the 2.5 times he is allowed to open his mouth.

So, expect little and just try to enjoy the cheap spectacle, if you have time to waste.

The special affects was done extremely good. Van Diesel did his usually performance as any other of his movies. I enjoyed parts of the movie but it is not a movie I would watch again. I actually found that this movie used ideas from other different movies for example, Octavia from Spiderman. So if you want a full action sci fi movie this may be one you would enjoy watching once.

I watched this with my 12-year old daughter, who is a sci-fi fan and loved all the action. She gave it 5 stars. I love Vin Diesel, but in my opinion this absolutely wasn't one of his best films. The acting was ok, but the film itself was too reminiscent of "The Matrix" for my liking. I felt it was only worth 3 stars, so after averaging, we gave it a 4-star rating.

The first 90 percent of the movie is a great classic-type sci-fi thriller. What does the future hold if there are no restraints on technology genre. The last 10 percent of the movie is superhero comic adventure. Until the last few minutes, it was good acting, good plot, lots of tension.
