Sundew, and most of the other LeafWings are nursing a deep hatred for the HiveWings, who have ripped every tree from the surface of Pantala, except those in Poison Jungle where the surviving LeafWings have been hiding, waiting for a dragon clever and powerful enough to exact their revenge--and now they are searching for the jungle's oldest and darkest mystery, one that could destroy them all.

This is 10000000000% the best book in the series!!!!! Sundew is an awesome protagonist and this book had lots of twists and turns I didn’t see coming!!!! It was super exciting and I couldn’t put the book down. Was it sappy? Yah, all these books are sappy but it wasn’t as sappy as the other books. I am super excited for the next book!!!! Who will be the protagonist of book 14?

I really liked this book, I bought it the day it was released and while the first two books in the third arc didn't really motivate me to like Sundew for any reason, this book just made me absolutely L O V E her. I won't say anything because last time my (SPOILER-LESS) comment was REPORTED for having SPOILERS, which it did NOT. Any Wings of Fire fan will enjoy this book though! I said I wouldn't say anything but I guess that was a lie: I really admire the creativity of leafspeak and how the LeafWings manage it. Mostly I loved how Tui described the leafspeak in action. How it spread through the roots and plants. Definitely my fav Wings of Fire book! :D

I was number 5 in line for this book, but just to annoy my friend, I got the book a few days ( a week?) before the library got it. I think this book it pretty nice, but I'll probably need to wait another year for book fourteen to come out.

Ok, so Sundew and her friends go to the Poison Jungle, and Sundew warns them not to smell or touch anything. Of course, Swordtail bends down to sniff something, and the Venus Dragon trap swallows Swordtail up, and he was rescued when Blue sets the carnivorous plant on fire. The group meets other LeafWings later on, when Mandrake was forced to kill a panther to practice his Leafspeak. Sundew was sent on a quest to the Eye of the jungle by Sequoia, to Hawthorn the LeafWing; to find a cure for the Breath of Evil, but there's a dangerous enemy in the jungle....

Read the book. I'm too lazy to keep typing. Anyone wondering what the protagonist for book fourteen is? Luna is my closes guess because almost all the Pantala dragons are currently evil( including Blue)
