I'm not entirely sure how I felt about this ending because honestly I thought the star would remove everyone's powers and level the playing field. I suppose in one way it did do this but in another way it really didn't and I don't feel like that was actually explained.

I also don't like the open ending and the hate for Magpie's character. Honestly can we just pretend the world could be peaceful for five minutes. I know that REALLY doesn't align with reality at the moment but that's why we have imagination!

One thing I did love was the twist about Phobia and his origins. What I did not love is what he did to Callum whose power is underrated and awesome.

Supernova brings the explosive Renegades series by Marissa Meyer to a close. Full of twists and turns, it is a great ending to an amazing series that stopped me from putting the book down. The build up to the final battle was a bit uneventful, although everything was made up for near the end of the book. I loved how everything that had been adding up all came together at the end of the book in an epic final battle, and how Meyer explored the line between good and bad, with the grey in between. Although there are some sappy points between Nova and Adrian, the book is certainly not a romance novel, as the relationship is not the focal point of the book, making it even more enjoyable for those who aren’t into sappy love stories. Definitely would recommend it for those who enjoyed Renegades and Archenemies. @PressSpaceToJump of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

A perfect conclusion to a wonderful series. This installment was even more action packed than the first two! Meyer kept me on the edge of my seat until the final chapter.

This is a phenomenal ending to a great series. There is plenty of action and psychological turmoil to keep the reader engaged till the end. Meyer continues to twist the trope of good versus evil and give the reader a reading experience they won't see coming.

There has to be another book! During the epilogue a really mind exploding thing revealed itself and I need there to be another book to find out if a certain thing figures itself out!!!!! It should really figure itself out!!!!!!!

This was a FANTASTIC way to end the series! I loved all the twists and turns! Nova and Adrain are soo sweet! Oscar and Ruby too. Though there were some parts I didn’t really like. Over all a great series! One of my favorites

Bombshells startled everyone within earshot with, "What?! No way! Of COURSE!" Intense X-men battles and themes. Twisty deception with a colorful, galvanizing conclusion. Practically quoting The New Jim Crow at some points, making you genuinely scared of the superheroes in power... even if I would've liked to see the police-state forgiving the "villains" on screen.
PS. It can't be a coincidence that someone wants a Platypus and then another guy namedrops Agent P in the next chapter!
