On the verge of writing a big-time Broadway show, Dick invites the four entertainers to participate. VERY GOOD 1954 Doris Day film when she was in her early thirties. Although Doris lights it up (as usual) the film plot is a little weak. I can understand why she apparently was a bit reluctant to make this particular film, but had to do so.
The opening 'Superstition Song' scene with Doris walking/dancing/jumping over cracks on the Miami street really starts the film out well.
I have been checking out all of the KCLS Doris Day material, and while this is not her very best, it is worth a watch.
And it was also fun to see little 4'11" Nancy Walker as Flo.
