The US Is a look at humanity declining be great if!!!!

This movie is a lot of things, the most important of which is as a mirror reflecting US racial politics, both its history and its present. It's also a great story in the tradition of "sting operation" movies - with just the right mix of suspense and humour. And Spike Lee does a great job of evoking the look (and music) of the 1970s. I can definitely dig it.

The best spike Lee movie since do the right thing...its always difficult to say one enjoyed these types of films because the root of it is hatred but when it is produced in such a way that is both entertaining and informative one cant recommend it high enough.I am sure this will make it's way to best picture consideration.

Compelling story of Colorado Springs detective, Ron Stallworth, African-American who infiltrated the Klu Klux Klan and the Posse Comitatas.

By and large, the film follows the real Ron Stallworth's 2014 memoir "Black Klansman" which is based on his experience to infiltrate the local KKK chapter. While Stallworth (Denzel Washington's son John) was the main man in the mission, his white partner, undercover agent Flip (Adam Driver) shouldered most of the risk in meetings with the Klans. It had the makings for a great story until the racism of Spike Lee came out in the end. As someone who actually lived during the race riots of the 60's and the racism then and compare it to today at the end, only shows the racism of Spike Lee and his embrace of violence as a solution. I feel sad for young people who are taught that racism is as alive as it was before the 1970's and that violence is the way of the future. I felt sick that Spike Lee destroyed a good movie by saying that we are as racially divided as the 1960's. Spike Lee , stay out of politics unless you have some positive answers to improve America.

Couldn't get my eyes off the screen. The real issue is nothing has changed at all, from the period depicted by this movie, compared to today. There is nothing in this movie that we have not missed seeing news coming from the States, from racist youtube comments on virtually any video, Toronto mayoral candidates like Faith Goldy, and the list goes on and on. This is the first period piece I've looked at that doesn't feel like a period piece at all.

Really a great movie and the best part it is a true story. We loved it one of the best in 2018.

Surprisingly lighthearted for such a difficult topic. Beautifully made movie.

Another excellent film from Spike Lee.

A nice segue between the final scene and the epilogue, which takes us to our disastrous present: Charlottesville, David Duke (again!) and his hero, the moron in the White House.
