When Gina Kane, a young investigator, receives an email from a mysterious CRyan explaining certain circumstances at her workplace at REL News network, and a “terrible experience” faced by many others, she takes up the case. To her astonishment, she discovers some time later that CRyan has died in an accident on a Jet Ski while travelling to Aruba.
At the same time, various female workers at REL News have reported allegations of sexual assault to Micheal Carter. He advances the company’s CEO, proposing an idea to bribe the victims with money in return for their silence.
Meanwhile, Gina is determined to discover what really happened to CRyan. When another female worker is found dead, hanging in her bathroom, Gina is convinced that the deaths are not an accident - and she’s intent on proving it. The company is desperate as more and more accusations surface, and Gina realizes that certain people will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that she doesn’t uncover the truth.

I have enjoyed reading “Queen of Suspense” books for decades. Her latest and last book installment (she passed away earlier this year) did not disappoint. I savored every word knowing it was the author’s last novel written. As always, she had super character development.

Haven't had much of an opportunity to "get into" a Mary Higgins Clark book in some time... Then "Kiss the Girls" arrives and proves to be a quick read and her last book! RIP MHC.

This latest title from the queen of suspense is right in sync with the #MeToo movement. Women are reporting sexual harassment/abuse from a famous television news personality. As Gina Kane begins to investigate, she also finds her leads are literally dying. Part 1 of the book is from Gina's POV as she begins her investigation. Part II details the events that began two years earlier and then we catch up to real time for Part III. Both of the latter two sections of the book are from a multitude of viewpoints as the action accelerates to a dangerous climax for our heroine. Mary Higgins Clark can still deliver -- although some of the dialogue seems a bit dated. Still an entertaining ride. I will be watching for her next bestseller so I can get an early spot on the Holds list at my local library.

A good thriller but got a little boring for me. Just get to the point and leave out some of the characters.

I've been reading Mary Higgins Clark for years now, and always look forward to the next installment. Usually, it's a huge surprise who the villain is, but this one made it pretty easy. Still, it was a fun read, and I look forward to the next one.

At 91 years of age, Mary Higgins Clark has still got it! While I figured out "who done it" fairly early on, it was still enjoyable. I'll keep reading MHC as long as she keeps writing!

Didn't draw me in as much as her past books, but "Kiss the Girls & Make Them Cry" is still a pretty good thriller as well as being a clean mystery.

An investigative journalist Gina Kane gets an email telling her about a terrible experience at work, Gina sets out to find out what is going on. When she finds outs that two woman have been killed and made to look like an accident, she knows she has to get to the bottom of this and stop it. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, but once I did, I couldn't put it down.
