The title made me think this could be a really good zombie book but it is not that kind of story. The book is a read alike to "Gone Girl" but without the nastiness of the characters. It is a quick read with lots of thrills.

Reese Witherspoon's June 2018 book club selection.
The book started out interesting, you wanted to know more, see how events would unfold. However, as we delved into the story I began to find it a bit predictable and the main character became annoying. Reese loved it and the book was optioned for a movie before it was even released, so give it a chance and see what you think.
