Add a CommentWonderful movie! Our whole family enjoyed, filled with laughter, love, and family fun. I would recommend this to anyone.
VERY GOOD 1953 'merry musical joy ride at 90 smiles a minute'. Sequel to 1951 On Moonlight Bay with much of same style - song/dance and comic ala Booth Tarkington Penrod stories.
Has continued romance with Doris and Gordon MacRae, young brother Wesley has more adventures, one including a Thanksgiving turkey. Includes some excellent song/dance scenes including "Ain't We Got Fun" and others. The King Chantacleer song/dance costumed skit sequence near the end is excellent.
I also particularly enjoyed seeing the beautiful Rosemary DeCamp again as Doris character's mother, and Mary Wickes as housemaid Stella.
