What a gorgeous and glorious book about the fall! The photographs of fall leaves and fall scenes are breathtaking. The text itself is simple and clear enough that this book can be used as a read-aloud for storytimes. This is a perfect example of a "non-fiction picture book". It contains photographs and information, but it is still in picture book format and can be enjoyed as a story. April Pulley Sayre has some other similarly beautiful "non-fiction picture books" with stunning photographs and simple text and she is definitely an author that I follow. Highly recommended.

A beautiful book using photography to show the changing of seasons from summer to fall to winter. The words are soft and few, and their gentle rhyme perfectly compliments the illustrious photographs. Perfect for learning about the seasons, or just delighting in gorgeous fall foliage.
