I love the three main characters, and having them all narrate the story worked really well here. The book is full of illustrations and doodles, but what kept me turning pages was the thriller-esque plot. If you're a fan of Ready Player One, escape rooms, or coding/computers this could be just what you're looking for!
What was the point? Computer hunger games. Basic story someone rigged to win and someone rigged to lose. It bounced around to each character quite frequently. It made each one distinctive. However you couldn't really get invested in their issue because as soon as you started to connect, it changed viewpoints. The first half was promising. The second half was a typical spy movie except it ended in a cliffhanger with zero resolution. Plus GIANT sized plot holes that I couldn't keep ignoring but they kept popping up. I mean huge. For example they disable cameras and expect no one to notice. Skip this.
Exciting new series - that has elements of Ready Player One. https://about.me/lgout Looks like a winner!
