This is from Hem's POV. I made it 3 chapters before I could no longer force it for the sake of the series. I can't stand his personality and was happy when him and Maerad parted ways thinking oh thank heavens I won't have to read that little twerp again. Wrong.

This is the darkest book in the series. I enjoyed the series overall, but this one is extra disturbing.

I really liked it, but preferred the others - it's harder to connect with Hem than Maerad.
