For all of you who think American politics is full of blood suckers-- well, you've arrived at the right series!! This is the third in a trilogy of well-
written novels (start with Blood Oath,
then read President's Vampire), and
we follow the adventures of Nathaniel
Cade, changed into a vampire in the
late 1860's and bound by oath to serve the U.S president. We learn that the War on Terror is really a "War
on the Dark Side" (no Darth Vader here, though!!). The books do lean
toward the bloody and violent, so they
won't be to everyone's taste, but are
readable, move at a rapid clip, and
Cade interacts with various historical
