What a horrible and dishonest book "The Complete Infidel's Guide to Iran" is.
The title invites one to hope that the book is a savvy American's wry guide to Persian land and culture. Such a reader will be sorely disappointed.

The "Guide to Iran" is merely a savage expression of far-right hatred for a country they have never visited, and don't understand. You won't learn anything from this book, except the depth of regressive anger and ignorance within low information Americans. There's little truth in it, but a great deal of unsupported inference, anonymous accusations, history rewriting, and unevidenced blame.

Whiney and tendentious, but of no scholastic value. It's really a "Complete Idiot's Guide". I recommend removing this propaganda from the library stock. Or perhaps consigning it to the "Humor [unintentional]" section.
