Great book look forward to other by this author. A woman is accused of killing her 3 month old baby but she does not remember it. Is she being frames? She was remaned to a Psych Unit and spend 3 years trying to get her like back together. Once released she starts getting pictures, a baby blanket she made for her child, someone trashes her house and makes an attempt on her life to keep her from finding out the truth about her son. Got me on the first page and interest continue throughout the book

I was hooked from page 1. There were enough unexpected occurrences to keep me reading non-stop. There have been comments about curse words; however, considering the nature of the beasts, it is a normal part of their characters. I do recommend this book.

The plot was well done, but what a pity the writing was so appalling. It reads like That's Life! or True Confessions magazine. The F word is on every page, and the C word, p****d, s**t and c**p are liberally sprinkled throughout too. I am no prude, but so much bad language put the book into the trashy category.
I didn't like any of the characters. The victim's persona was patchy. One minute she would be demonstrating how she had been conditioned to behave in a certain way, and the next minute she was portrayed as a strong, independent woman.
The villain was drawn well and the suspense was sustained almost until the end, but overall I thought the book was pretty terrible. I don't accept all the rave reviews. All I can say is the author must have a lot of online friends.

Whoa. That is the one word I have to describe this novel. Baby Doll by Hollie Overton is her debut novel and what a debut it is!

This book sucked me in right away and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved this book! I would consider it a "must read"

I read this book because of comments made that it was better than Gone Girl and Girl On The Train....NOTHING like those books. This was simply a story about a girl that was kidnapped and what happens after she escapes. There are NO interesting twists or surprises. I was VERY disappointed...no twists and turns, no surprises.

OK, I got an advanced reader of this book. What happens when you were kidnapped as a teen, and finally manage to escape from your abductor, with your young child? You would think it would be all joy and happiness and revenge. Oh, there's revenge here, but a lot has happened since she was kidnapped. Things have changed. This book is almost impossible to put down. The writing is compelling and keeps the reader guessing. Unfortunately there are issues with bad language. That might not bother some readers, but I had to do a lot of mental editing. This is the author's first book. It bodes well for her future career.
