I liked this book, but I wish that it had it had a bit more success in it . It just seemed a bit depressing to go on a quest and come back disappointed. But some parts were really good, also.Still,I think this book was great, but would recommend it to a more expert Warriors fan.

‘The Apprentice’s Quest' by Erin Hunter is the first book in ‘A Vision of Shadows’ arc. It tells of Alderpaw, the son of Bramblestar and the grandson of Firestar, going on a quest to find the lost SkyClan. After years of being disappointed with the rushed writing of Erin Hunter’s two previous book arcs, I can definitely say ‘The Apprentice’s Quest’ brings us back to the old, familiar world of the clan cats. I enjoyed this book thoroughly from beginning to end; the characters were memorable, the messages of friendship and trust were clear, the adventure was exciting, and the writing is thought out very well. I will rate this book a 4.5/5 and am looking forward to reading its sequel. I highly recommend it to any cat lovers, avid Warriors book fans, or to anyone that just wants a good adventure book to read. Warriors is finally back.

Warriors are my favorite book! I just finshed this book and it's very exciting how Alderpaw and his group of Thunderclan cats tried to save skyclan from rogue cats, unfortunately they failed. But it gave me a chance to learn how skyclan was exiled by those rogue cats who took over their land and killed the skyclan cats. Five star rated for sure!
