Fossil fuel energy is the lifeblood of the modern world. Before the Industrial Revolution, humanity depended on burning wood and candle wax. But with the ability to harness the energy in oil and other fossil fuels, quality of life and capacity for progress increased exponentially. Thanks to incredible innovations in the energy industry, fossil fuels are as promising, safe, and clean an energy resource as has ever existed in history. Yet, highly politicized climate policies are pushing a grand-scale shift to unreliable, impractical, incredibly expensive, and far less efficient energy sources. Today, "fossil fuel" has become such a dirty word that even fossil fuel companies feel compelled to apologize for their products. In Fueling Freedom , energy experts Stephen Moore and Kathleen Hartnett White make an unapologetic case for fossil fuels, turning around progressives' protestations to prove that if fossil fuel energy is supplanted by "green" alternatives for political reasons, humanity will take a giant step backwards and the planet will be less safe, less clean, and less free.

Radical environmentalists have convinced the global elite of the absurd idea that the greatest threat to mankind is the changing climate produced by the burning of fossil fuels. It has become the dogma of the leftist establishment despite the fact that replacing fossil fuel with medieval technologies of wind, solar and biomass is a dangerous fantasy. No one has told the true story of the world's and particularly the United States' vast inexpensive non polluting fossil fuels as Moore and White have. The book should be read by every High School student presently being bombarded by green lies. The lucid, precise, comprehensive, yet simple writing style can set the world back on a course toward energy sanity. A must read.

"Climate Code Red"
President Trump said Monday, not surprisingly, that he doesn’t believe a comprehensive climate report released by his administration on Friday. Making matters worse, "his denialism is echoed by other Republicans who should know better,” writes Max Boot in the Washington Post.
The congressionally-mandated National Climate Assessment found that the US has already experienced significant increases in temperature and sea level. “Imagine if these figures reflected a rise in terrorism — or illegal immigration,” Boot writes. “Republicans would be freaking out. Yet they are oddly blasé about this climate code red."
Boot, a former climate change skeptic himself, contends that conservatives “are captives, first and foremost, of the fossil fuel industry” but “also captives of their own rigid ideology. It is a tragedy for the entire planet that America’s governing party is impervious to science and reason.”

Moore is such a complete hack, appears on CNN from time to time to display his complete ignorance of economics, which is ostensibly why they have him on. Believe he's related to Timothy Geithner, and equally neocon.
