Despite being remembered as the cold fish who tried and failed to establish the League of Nations, President Woodrow Wilson was in his time renowned for his innovative political ideas, moving oratory, and driving faith. This documentary traces Wilson's life from his boyhood in the Civil War and post-Civil War South through his career as an academic and on to his first 18 months in the White House. Of particular note are Wilson's struggles with dyslexia, his passionate attachment to his wife, and the reforms he introduced at the state and federal levels.
