I was excited by this novel. A mystery novel with a woman DI struggling with hostility and sexism in the workplace? Sign me up!
What I got was dry, difficult to follow, and one of the worst endings to ever come out of a mystery novel. It was disgusting and vile and overdone. Seriously, the time I spent on this book is time I'll never get back.
