This series was a very great series and this book was no expectation. But as the book progressed it became harder and harder to understand. But over all it was a very good book. And if you want to read this book read the other 7 in order first or it will be even more confusing.

I'm now in college, but I've been following this series since it first came out when I was in middle school (more age-appropriate at that time, I know). I've got to say, this series ended very, very satisfyingly and perfectly. Probably about as confusing as "Revealed" (book 7 in the series, and the installment just prior to this conclusion), but at least a lot of the dangling ends from book 7 are resolved. I must say that this series got more and more complicated and confusing as it went on, and I wonder how simple the first few books must seem in light of what we learn in the last few. I do struggle to understand how a middle school student can understand some of the really complicated parts of this book as even I can't. They probably just weren't explained well enough, but I guess that's okay since it might get a bit hard to follow or dry were that to happen. Overall, well done, I was skeptical about the book being from Jordan's point of view after all the others were from Jonah's, but I got used to it and I think the ending is improved as a result of it. Great read but make sure to read all the 7 before this or it will be more confusing for you than for Jordan.

Beautiful ending to the series. I read the entire book in two days because of how intriguing it was. A little confusing at some parts though; especially if you had trouble understanding the last book. Really going to miss the series.

"Redeemed" (the eighth and last book in The Missing series) is written from Jordan's, Jonah's twin brother, point of view. He comes downstairs one morning and finds an identical twin brother her didn't even know existed looking annoyed at him, his sister Katherine acting like he's had another brother for all his life, his parents now the same age as he, and two other adults in his house too.
As he starts to understand what is going on, he realizes that he is the only one who can save his parents . . . and all of time.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Somebody dies in a weird sci-fi way, and this gives Jordan nightmares afterwards.
