I found the first part of this book very helpful; it serendipitously arrived when I was struggling through some ending scenes and ready to throw my laptop in the nearest body of water. The questions, suggestions, and analyses offered helped me to see my problems and get going again. It quickly grew repetitive, re-stating virtually the same information that was given in the introductory chapters. This would be a great help for breaking out of writer's block (worked for me), and for analyzing a first draft to see what needs to be tightened up or shifted.
