From the barbarians of ISIS to the terror tactics of Al-Qaeda and its offshoots, to the impending threat of a nuclear Iran, those motivated by extreme fundamentalist Islamic faith have the power to endanger and kill millions. The conflict with them will not end until we face the truth about those who find their inspiration and justification in the religion itself.

An unapologetic analysis of the religion of Islam, it's teachings and it's goals for global domination. A clear and dire warning to America in particular and the western world in general that despite the comments of many political leaders, Islam is not a religion of peace.

The Truth.

The author is a radio and print journalist and fiction writer (some 20 books). Going back to President Jefferson’s campaign against the Muslim Barbary Pirates, Beck is at pains in this book to confront Muslims with what he believes to be their plan to force Islam on the entire world. While carefully documenting his sources with 32 pp. of notes, there is no index.

Excellent book. Very informative. All Americans should read this book to gain a clear understanding of the Islamic religion and how it is so different from Christianity.

The nonsense that we are constantly fed in the media everytime another Islamic inspired outrage occurs is that Islam is a "religion of peace" and that these individuals who have commited such violence and murder have simply misinterpreted and perverted this peaceful religion.
Well this excellent book tells you that this is all nonsense and that violence and warfare are an essential and core element to the Islamic religion.
Drawing on the Koran itself, and the Hadith, Glenn Beck demonstrates clearly that violent actions are not a misinterpretation of Islam, but the core extension of a highly violent and expansionist ideology.
Glenn Beck demonstrates that Islam divides the world into two houses or spheres.
The first is "dar al Islam" or House of Islam and these are the lands and territories controlled by Islam and ruled under Sharia law.
The second sphere is the "dar al harb" or HOUSE OF WAR which is everywhere else in the world which is not the dar al Islam.
The west is the dar al harb, or the House of War.
Muslims believe that the dar al Islam will conquer the dar al harb, and when that day happens, and the entire world becomes one under Islam, then there will be peace.
Hence Islam is a "religion of peace".
Violence and murder to that end are therefore justified in the Koran and Muslims who commit such acts of violence do not misinterpret their religion, but understand it's core elements perfectly.
The sooner the West wakes up to this reality the better!

I'm still reading this book, but so far it's been very informative and insightful, especially for people like me who are just starting to research radical Islam. I also noticed the two reviews posted by naturalist. This person probably didn't even read the book and just wants to trash the author on a personal bias. I wish the library would disallow those sort of hate filled commenters.

Let's see. Glenn Beck is Christian? Actually, he is Mormon and MANY Christian denominations do NOT recognize Mormons (which has a faith with extra books added to the KJB in the 1800s).

"An author with ideological influence on Beck is W. Cleon Skousen (1913–2006), a prolific conservative political writer, American constitutionalist and faith based political theorist. As an anti-communist supporter of the John Birch Society, and limited-government activist, Skousen, who was a fanatical Mormon (distanced from by even other Mormons), wrote on a wide range of subjects: the Six-Day War, Mormon eschatology, New World Order conspiracies... Beck praised Skousen's "words of wisdom" as "divinely inspired" (wouldn't that be heretical as the Bible is all that is divinely inspired), referencing Skousen's The 'Naked Communist' (written in 1981 - with the most major Communist powers collapsing ten years later - Max Blumenthal heavily criticized the book in his 2009 book Republican Gomorrah, where he dismissed it as a "right-peddling conspiracy tract".[5] In contrast, the book has been highly praised by Glenn Beck and American neurosurgeon Ben Carson) and especially 'The 5,000 Year Leap' (originally also published in 1981... and should be carried as a Fiction book), which Beck said in 2007 had 'changed his life'. ('The 5,000 Year Leap' is frequently cited by right-leaning political commentator Glenn Beck as being the most influential in the development of Beck's political views.)

The basic bottom line comparison would have to conclude that there are NO liberal Christians or moderate Christians or even mildly conservative Christians... only bloodthirsty, genocidal, ethnic cleansing, terrorist fundamentalist fanatical Christians who follow the dictates of the Yahweh of the Old Testament part of the Bible.

The Christians who slaughtered even each other (Protestant vs. Catholic) during the 30-years War to the extent that likely as much as 75% of Europe's population was lost.

The Christians who committed such brutal excesses and acts of terrorism in the Crusades against both Muslims AND Jews - and even on occasions Eastern Orthodox Christians ("Crusaders often pillaged the countries through which they traveled, and contrary to their promises the leaders retained much of this territory rather than returning it to the Byzantines.

The People's Crusade prompted the murder of thousands of Jews, known as the Rhineland massacres. Constantinople was sacked during the Fourth Crusade rendering the reunification of Christendom impossible. Due to the weakening that resulted from the siege, the remnants of the Byzantine Empire finally fell to the Ottomans in 1453. The Catholic Church mounted no coherent response when their last stronghold in the region, Acre, fell in 1291.")

The level of such fanatical fundamentalist Christian brutality which culminated in the brutality seen when the Crusaders besieged Jerusalem in 1099.. The Jews and Muslims fought together to defend Jerusalem against the invading Franks, but the crusaders entered the city on 15 July 1099. They proceeded to massacre the remaining Jewish and Muslim civilians and also pillaged and destroyed mosques and synagogues and most of the city itself. In his 'Historia Francorum qui ceperunt Iherusalem,', Raymond D'Aguilers exalted actions which would be considered atrocities from a modern viewpoint.... On a popular level, the First Crusade unleashed a wave of impassioned, pious Catholic fury which was expressed in the massacres of Jews that accompanied the crusades and the violent treatment of the Orthodox Christians of the east... "

One could go on and on, even into modern times. The bottom line is that there are elements of Islam that are very moderate, just as within Christianity.
