Great movie (I am a nondeaf viewer)! Five stars all around! Good family film. An excellent view into the deaf culture, for a nondeaf person, about how difficult it is for someone who is considered "not normal" (nonhearing) to fit into the "normal" hearing world. (The term "normal" is overused.) And it shows how spectacularly the deaf conquer, this time through love, their "limitations." Loved the cute ending too. Acting was great, with some well-known actors from Sue Thomas FBEye, and of course, the famous Marlee Matin (pioneers for paving the way for non-hearing folks).
P.S. Ignore the bad review. That person obviously does not have any desire to understand the deaf culture, which is amazing.

I liked it! It was a cute, heartwarming movie about the challenges faced by people with hearing impairments. It inspires you to believe in yourself no matter who tries to bring you down, and challenges the idea of "being normal". I would watch it again!

This is more closer to a suggestion than a movie. It's just plain boring, without any actions or whatsoever. Not even close to being even on the top 10, and I definitely would NOT recommend this movie to anyone who seeks action, or at least, a fun movie to watch. Not even a drama. If I were to call this a movie, I wouldn't even know what the type of the movie was.
