It started out okay but it ended up not being at all what I expected (well except for really dumb... that part was correct!).

Silly boy humour! They do everything but fart (er, I might be wrong about that) but I laughed OUT LOUD. It's really funny, seriously.

This movie is one of my childhood favourites. I loved this movie because it is one of the funniest things i’ve ever seen. This movie is about childhood friends reuniting under bad circumstances and making the best out of their trip. This movie featured a lot of huge actors and stand up comics which made it much more popular. The actors in this movie are also friends in real life which made them have such good chemistry in the movie. In my opinion this movie was an original idea and has been a favourite movie by many people for a long time. Although this movie had some vulgar language and adult scenes, therefore I wouldn’t recommend it for all ages or at least for you to watch with a guardian. I rate this movie a solid 4/5 and hope that you enjoy it like I did. @ButterChicken of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Grown Ups is a famous comedy movie starring adam sandler. Now all grown up working in hollywood he receives a call that his childhood basketball coach has passed away. He then brings his family to his hometown staying in a cabin with his four lifelong friends and their families. This trip creates a strong bond between them and their kids, creating new memories no one will forget. I would recommend this movie because its extremely heartwarming and funny, Adam Sandler is an amazing actor and creates a captivating atmosphere. @GoosReviews of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This movie showcases all the different types of grown-ups, and most importantly, all the different types of parents and families. All five men have lived very different lives since playing on the same basketball team when they were younger, but now that their coach has died they are reunited at the funeral where their families collide and they begin to reconnect. This movie is very entertaining and funny at times, even though the acting isn’t very great and the script is over-played. However, I would still rate it 3.5/5 stars and recommend it as one of Adam Sandler’s better films.

There were parts that were funny but I have to admit, I was falling asleep . It was hard to keep up with this movie because it was going in too many directions, and Adam Sandler's dronelike personality? It may work in some occasions but in others, no thanks. I don't recommend it, but if you like the insanity of these characters, then more power to you.

Grown Ups was such a hilarious movie that made me laugh for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Lenny Fader realizes that just because he has a rich fancy Hollywood lifestyle doesn’t mean he cant go back and revisit his old roots, friends and shenanigans. Spending his weekend with all his old friends and kids in a lake house changes his whole perspective on everything. The kids bond over telephone cups, water parks, skipping rocks and July 4th weekend. I watched this movie with my friends and little brother and we all loved it so much. It left us making jokes for days and days after. Some of the language and content was inappropriate but kept an appropriate humour. Kevin James, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider are all such amazing actors and made this movie so complete. Throughout the movie these actors let go of there "Grown Up" side, let lose and showed their kids how to have fun the old way. It was all so cleverly put together and never had one dull or boring moment. After watching this movie I felt so full of laughter and joy. This movie has so many relatable moments. As a teen most of my time is spent indoors on the computer or on my phone but grown ups showed me that the most fun is spent outside with family and friends. I can safely say that I will probably never get tired of watching this movie. So if you are looking for a fun easy laugh with friends or family then Grown Ups is the movie to watch.

Gloria: I have a confession to make too. I'm really a man.

[Everyone - OH, Yeah, I told you, etc]

Gloria: Just kidding! I'm really hurt that so many of you believed this.

"Hey Fader, looks like you gained a few pounds."
"From when I was 8 years old? I would say so."
"You know, that game had a couple of bad calls."
"What game..... oh, you mean from when we were kids? You gotta be kiddin' me..."
"I want a rematch. I dare ya'."
"Hey look. My boys aren't in that great shape. I could see maybe having a 'getting-off-the-sofa contest'..."
"Anytime. Anywhere."
"It was a joke."

Marcus: Hey Lenny, remember when we used to come here in high school after we got wasted?

Lenny: Shh.

Donna: What's wasted?

Lenny: Uh, wasted, kids, is.. Something.. That.. Happens.. When you have a hankering for ice cream.

Andre: Oh, I want to get wasted.

Charlotte: I want to get totally wasted.

Donna: I want to get wasted every single day of my life.

Becky: I want to get chocolate wasted.

Roxanne: No you don't need to get wasted, it's ok.
