Delightful movie/ Beautiful scenery - I'm not a great fan of Ben Stiller but the role was perfect for him in this, moves right along, has some good moral lessons and a lighthearted romance. We'll be watching this again.

A sweet, sincere fable about a dreamer learning to appreciate reality. Somewhat hampered by the extreme amount of hamfisted product placement, and the painfully cliché nature of the first couple of fantasy sequences. But overall, probably the best thing that Ben Stiller has ever appeared in.

I love this movie. The scenery is fabulous. You can't help but root for Walter as he finds himself again.

A fun adventure based on the short story

What a horrible remake. Watch Danny Kaye's original one first. His was a lot more funny and enjoyable, and without all of the bad stuff either. Not recommended.

Decent movie, and the longboard scenes have me very jealous.

This drama and fantasy film follows Walter Mitty, who is an employee at a magazine and spends his work day developing photos. To get himself through the day, he imagines an incredible world where he is exactly who he wants to be and has everything that a person could ever wish for. His dreams become reality when the magazine asks him to travel and explore in order to capture the perfect picture for the cover of their magazine. This movie shows the importance of dreaming and searching for more beyond reality. The film is cute, charming, and adventurous, and I would rate it 4/5 stars.

Boring movie, the script couldn't engage me with Mitty's "adventures", there was a bit of mystery with Sean Penn's character that kept me hanging in there but the payoff ended up being disappointing.

Very subtle and understated story - Ben Stiller OWNS it. Kristen Wiig is good. Sean Penn! long time no see. Special features pointed out aspects I hadn't noticed. For example, pay attention to the settings and colors as the movie progresses. Good retelling of the James Thurber story. Now I want to again see (for comparison purposes) the 1947 Danny Kaye version!
