Spoken-word CD - 2014
Rate this:
Traditional family history research utilizes federal/state censuses and vital records as tools of study. However, these record types present difficulties for the African Americans researchers as prior to 1870 their enslaved ancestors are not generally identified by name on these documents. This lecture will demonstrate examples of documentable sources to overcome these barriers and assist the genealogists in adding context and content to their history.
