Surprisingly awesome. A fun read for sure. All the humor and witty dialogue of the "Lies of Locke Lamora" with the camaraderie of The Three Musketeers. A nice break from the wave of grimdark fantasy books out there, and it still even has substance to it without having to go to the dark places many other fantasy authors are exploring these days. Worthwhile.

This book is a swashbuckling, magical, and humorous adventure! Plot twists and turns were fun though sometimes predictable. I particularly like the diverse roles for females in this story!!
