Robert Greenberg is an erudite and entertaining lecturer who enlivens his biographical sketches of composers with really funny figures of speech. Three professional pianists play excerpts of the works that are described by Professor Greenberg. My favorites: Lecture 3 -Bach's Goldberg Variations; #6 - Beethoven's Diabelli Variations; #12 - Liszt's Sonata and Lectures #13, 14 on Brahms.
