I cannot express my love for this movie enough! Audrey Hepburn is perfect in the title role as Princess Anne and Gregory Peck is amazing as Joe Bradley, the American journalist. Loved Eddie Albert in a "Bohemian-type" role as Joe's friend Irving. This movie is absolutely perfect and wonderful. Funny, sad, touching, hilarious and romantic. And did I mention the gorgeous shots of Rome?

Best timeless movie ever! Funny, believable and the fashion was so ahead of its time! Edith Head knows how to design for a cast and gets it. My favorite go to film whenever I want to be taken away to 🇮🇹 Italy!

A funny and beautiful modern romantic comedy where Hepbun won an Academy Award for Best Actress and the film won for screenplay and costume design. That film set a standard for future romantic comedies still followed today. 5 stars out of 5.

This movie is adorable and sweet without being saccharine.

So much better than expected. Though it contains plenty of good laughs, 'ROMAN HOLIDAY' goes well beyond comedy with its affecting conclusion. The altercation at the dance is, I think, what brought the pair closer, into something meaningful. It seems adversity is the catalyst necessary for this! A great cast, beautifully written and executed (sumptuously filmed in Rome: it's so nice when they actually go where the movie depicts). Truly classic.

A European princess falls for an American reporter when he finds her asleep on a park bench, on her trying to get away from her stressful life and him deciding on either his work or possible romance. Featuring Audrey Hepburn, and Gregory Peck in this black and white drama, it won three Academy awards and a golden globe.

Great movie and lots of humorous scenes. Loved Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn in this charming movie. Pretty tasteful compared to other Italian movies with surprise scenes.

Princess Ann: I've never been alone with a man before, even with my dress on. With my dress off, it's MOST unusual.
