I loved everything about this novel. Day never makes me regret reading or in this case buying, her novels. Loved the time period and Jasper/Eliza's relationship. 5 stars easily. Happy Reading!

The relationship between Jasper & Eliza is a dream come true. They fulfill each other's needs, as well as each other's desires. The supporting characters play important figures in the development of their attraction to each other. The time period is not my favorite, however the romance is so well written that I enjoyed reading and re-reading this book. This is one of my favorite Sylvia Day stories.

This book had a few interesting parts, but overall thought it was very boring. Historical romance with a little bit of erotica thrown in a few places. Compared to the Crossfire series of Sylvia Day, I thought this was very boring!
