This is the last book of the four book Watersong series, which has been quite an adventure. I am sorry to say that the violence does just keep repeating itself over and over, and I really wish I had read this at 16, and not when I was younger. Innocent people be warned! The ending was not what I was expecting, but I guess at this point I didn't expect much in general. But I was pretty satisfied with it in the end, and I guess somewhat to this day. Characters developed rather nicely, unlike in the second book which felt like a filler in a cake. This was definitely a nice layer of (bittersweet) icing!

Great! Wow, just an incredible conclusion to this series. Everything figured itself out, it was a perfect ending with a sympathetic character dying, and all that happened to right the wrong of the curse made logical sense- even Diana's reaction to being asked to help. I thought this book was very captivating, it kept me on edge, and it all together just made me happy :) Plus, I love Harper and Daniel!!!!! Yay!!!

This is a great book, love the ending.

A good end to the series and not nearly as predictable as one would expect. I'm still in love with this author and the worlds she creates. Looking forward to future books from her.
