Take an all-star cast, hilariousness, sadness and a southern setting and you've got Steel Magnolias! The perfect "chick flick" if there ever was one, but that should be enjoyed by men and women alike. Dolly Parton is wonderful as is the rest of the cast. I love the way Steel Magnolias is written because even touching situations are presented with a bit of laughter. Don't miss out on this classic film!

I loved this movie of these wonderful women. It had sad times and happy times and funny times. Makes you wonder how you would handle cancer and still want to have a baby . it was too hard on this gal and she died. But her memories will always be remembered with her baby living with the family left behind.

A little bit dated, but still a definite tear-jerker and wonderful film for women!
