“Wake”, Book #1 of the “Watersong” series, written by Amanda Hocking, is about “Gemma”, who got trapped with a group of sirens during her late night ocean swim, and forcefully got turned into one of them during her interaction. I have read a lot of books about sirens in the past, but this one is exceptionally unique. The characters are very entertaining and this story is super fun to read as well. I was a little bit confused at one point of the story because it involved greek mythology, and I am not used to reading stuff like that, but it was an interesting experience overall. There is definitely something for everyone in this book because it also has an emotional and romantic factor. If you are anyone that likes to read about fantasy, romance, mystery, or greek mythology, then I would certainly recommend this book to you!
