This is a great read for people who like cooking or people who like dads. The short chapters make it easy to dip in casually, and the recipes are terrific (the milk-braised pork loin recipe is simple and yummy). If you liked Nora Ephron's Heartburn, you'll like this book.

This would be a great gift for Father's Day...full of personal essays and recipes by dads. A fun read overall.
