If I hadn't read other Aston books, this would be a snooze. At least I could play the game of reading between the lines and guessing what thoughts and actions she ascribes to the main character that were probably her own as she wrote her "sequels" to P&P. Otherwise, it was a whole lot of worry and dithering about writer's block and then a very quick climax and resolution.
