Cyndi Lauper is not known for blues music, but this album is a wonderful departure from her previous albums. Cyndi does a great job of singing the blues songs and is backed up by an impressive number of notable blues artists. The blues artists that are contributing are Charlie Musselwhite, Allen Toussaint, B.B. King, Jonny Lang, and Ann Peebles. Some great songs are "How Blue Can You Get", "Down Don't Bother Me" by Albert King and backed up by Charlie Musselwhite. Also "Rollin' and Tumblin'" along with Ann Peebles. I must say the whole album is very enjoyable and worth every minute of listening.
