I picked this just to get out of romance novels for a bit and I'm so glad I picked this one in particular because is the first of several, I can't wait to read the next one.

This is the first book in Allyson's STORMWALKER series. "Firewalker" is the second. "Stormwalker" provides a real change of scenery for urban fantasy readers. In actual fact, it's not urban at all, but it has all the other aspects of UF: dark story lines with an independent, sassy, angst-ridden heroine who is making it on her own in a supernaturally charged world. This heroine is a Native American who lives in the Southwest and has weather-related magic, hence the title. You'll love her motorcycle-riding, dragon-shifter boyfriend!
