In this sweet, funny holiday family film, sportscaster Eric and his partner Sam become temporary guardians to Sam's not-quite-nephew, Scot. Eric and Sam are straight-laced and a little uptight; Scot is outgoing and flamboyant with a penchant for singing carols in October. Charming and moving, with nice performances all around.

Not a bad film, but kind of blah. The novel by Michael Downing is much better. Funnier and the characters are more filled out.

I didn't laugh and I wasn't amused. I don't know but this film just fell flat for me. I guess it's because I found the character Eric (Tom Cavanagh) to be annoying.

Hilarious,,, Scot is here to stay & with SUPER LAUGHTER, smoothly force the World around him to change to Scot's colorful taste.
After this film, one wants to see more of a Canadian humor.

A great Canadian movie that really makes you think about internalized homophobia.

We enjoyed this funny Canadian film about a conservative (and closeted) gay couple who become guardians of a very sparkly little boy. A fresh and positive take on adoption.
