The above description is for the play/novel "The Spider's Web", not "The Unexpected Guest". "Unexpected Guest" is also a play which was adapted as a novel. A man is lost in the fog, and his car goes into a ditch, so he goes to the nearest house. Inside is a dead man in a wheelchair and his wife standing nearby holding a gun. The plot develops from there. It's not as good as Christie's novels, but it's an entertaining read.
