Jessica Popper's wedding to longtime fiancé Nick Burby is interrupted by murder. The victim is the black sheep of the Burby flock, a relative Nick's never met. No one thought Cousin Nathaniel would return for the event--except his killer. Instead of enjoying her honeymoon, Jess tries to make sense of a large list of suspects. All clues lead to an exclusive private school in Long Island's high-toned Bromptons, with snobby socialites and locals on scholarship taking classes in African drumming and European field trips. Just when Jess thinks she's about to catch the killer, she realizes she's been set up.

I enjoyed this, even though I hadn't read any other books in this series. My only criticism is it annoyed me when the protagonist lied to her fiancé about stupid things that any thinking person would know would only come back to bite her in the you-know-what, and of course it does. If not for that, I would have rated it 5 stars.
