This is a great picture book to read to kids. The illustrations are hilarious, there is excellent vocabulary and repetition, and adults will love it as much as kids. As you might have guessed, it’s about Penelope and her birthday party and all the people she’s invited, much to the consternation of her parents. Give it a whirl! (submitted by JF)

This child is so spoiled...but it fits with the preposterous title.
