I read a print copy of this novel recently, on a friend's recommendation. I enjoyed several of Dean Koontz's earlier novels, from the 1980's and 1990's. This one was slow to start and kind of boggy in spots--at times I was thinking "Hurry up and get to the damned point!"--but liked the basic plot setup. In reading reviews here on Bibliocommons and on Amazon, I'm surprised no one's pointed out the similarities between False Memory and Koontz's earlier novel Night Chills, i.e., the use of drugs and hypnosis inducing phrases to control people.

I quite enjoy Koontz novels and this appeared to be in that category except that Koontz kept going when he should have stopped. Too much happening that was just not credible... I expect that I will still read Koontz in the future

Very first Dean Koontz book I've picked up - now I'm a fan.

One of Koontz's best novels, to date, in my opinion. I couldn't put this book down!
