Add a QuoteDoubt thou the stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move, doubt the truth to be a liar, but never doubt--" "Stop it!" she said. "Honestly Giacomo, do you ever just say what you mean, without quoting all the time?" "Fine," he said, his own voice rising to match hers. "You are the most maddening girl I have ever known. No" --he corrected himself--"you are the most maddening person. I'm including everyone, male and female, that I have ever met in my entire life! You're irritating and argumentative. And so, of course," he finished with irritation, "you're the one I had to fall in love with." "You...what did you say?" He glared at her. "I said i love you." (Giacomo to Kate. Page 397/398. <3)
he leaned forward slightly and held her gaze. he said softly, "and then I'll whisper something to you. an endearment of some sort."
"I don't think that's necessary..."
"the sort," he continued,"to make a girl blush."
"really?" she said coolly. "and that would be...?" in answer he leaned forward and whispered in her ear.
and Kate blushed.

Great was intrested the whole way through. Never will make fun of Romeo and Juliet again.
It takes a while for the film to get started. The main character is also one that I found to be easily irritating. Over-all: great book with characters that grow with the plot :)
I really liked this book, it makes you think that anything can happen, especially if you aren't expecting it. The end seemed a little rushed and left some loose ends. overall really good
I think this is a great book! I have it on hold so I can read it again and again!
I loved this book! I like the perfect balance of romance, with two seemingly normal people. It really shows that romance can come to anyone. my only questions are how are they going to keep a relationship? and also, what if Kate's dad and Giacomo's mom started dating, how would that all work out? still a good book.
this book is really good, i would definably read it again. i also love were it takes place Italy. i coundnt stop reading this book and i kinda related to it so ya it was pretty good!
wow. I was surprised how the book developed. I thought the way the author chose the turn of events was very unique. i admit the first few chapters were kind of slow but it is something you would want to finish! :D
I just finished reading this book, and i loved it! <3 I'll admit at first i wasn't really into it, then I read the other reviews below mine and they said it was an amazing book. So i picked it up again and i'm glad i did. I loved the relationship between Kate and Giacomo! (did you know that the name Giacomo translated from Italian to English means James? haha. I wanted to know what it sounded like in Italian so i used google translate and it also said it was James in English. Anywaaaays...) Overall i loved this book. After reading this and seeing the movie Letter's to Juliet i want to visit Verona and go to Juliet's house. :D Also, i think it's cool they give you the address to Juliet's house so you can send your love questions/worries/stories/etc to 'Juliet' :) i think im going to do that. I recommend this book to everyone! :D
awesome book! really good romance novel for teens and pre-teens.
