What a refreshing find! Great humor, no swearing (very hard to find in most comedies now!), Benedict Cumberbatch in geeky excellence, and flash-into-the-past soundtrack.

Want a different kind of coming of age flick. One that is well thought out and bares more of a similarity to real life than a John Hughes version? This is the film for you. An American production (thank you HBO) of a Brit Book using a Brit cast is just a wonderful idea. You would never have know this was a Hollywood production. Well worth the time.

A wonderful movie. James McAvoy is a real treat. Great 80's music.
